The city emblem was adopted on Nov 10th 2006 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue and an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized K of Konan in a form of a youthful citizen. The green color stands for an abundant nature such as the mountains and the local land, the blue color for the sea and River Monobe, the orange star for a conformity and a hope of the former five towns and village. It represents an image of the city which is enveloped with beautiful water, green trees and wind and vividly shines.
