The town emblem was adopted on Nov 2nd 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana ち Chi of Chikujo in a form of a man who overcomes difficulties to realize an idea of the town building. The green color stands for an abundant earth. It represents a vigor and a development of the town.

Shiida Town / 椎田町

The flag of the former town of Shiida was blue with mark. The town is now, from 2006, part of the town of Chikujo.

Tsuiki Town / 築城町

The former Tsuiki Town became a part of Chikujo Town on Jan 10th 2006.
