The city emblem was adopted on Jul 8th 1971 but there is no flag law. The green flag has an orange city emblem with a white fimbriation in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana こ Ko of Koga. The holding arms represent the citizen�s firm solidarity and affinity.
