The town emblem was adopted in Nov 1975 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana さ Sa of Sasaguri. The triangle symbolizes Mt. Wakasugi, Mt. Hokotate and Mt. Komeno. As a whole, it represents the town which is expanding in four directions for further development.
