Background

Embu County is located in the centre of Kenya, approximately 130km north east of the capital, Nairobi.

Description of the flag

The county flag has three horizontal stripes of green, white and light brown. At the hoist is a white triangle in the centre of which is the county Arms. The apex of the triangle extends to the edge of the flag to form a fimbriation between the green and brown stripes. The flag is sometimes displayed with the triangle on the fly side.
