Description of the flags
- Flag description: three equal stripes, blue-yellow-blue (Sources: [kra82d] [l9i85] [jsu73])
- Flags actually used:
- vertical flag, simple stripes
- square flag, banner-of-arms
- vertical flag, stripes with banner-of-arms in the head M. Schmöger, 12 September 2009
The flag has three stripes blue-yellow-blue, of equal width. So the flags of Balzers and of Gamprin are identical. The official texts for the communes say that they can also use their coats of arms to make flags (banners of the arms). (Sources: [kra82] and the Decree of H.R.H., the Reigning Prince, granting a coat of arms and a flag to the commune of Gamprin, of the 30th April 1958)

The difference between these two— is it only the ratio, and the black line at the top of the stripes?
Željko Heimer, 12 September 2009
These are just two different specimens of the flag that were in actual use: This was the one used as Banner in front of the municipal office, whereas the other was used as Auslegerflagge(outrigger flag) at Bank Frick.
