Overview

Jonava (Jonava District) - on a blue field a displayed red armed silver swan. Flag proportions 10:13, fringe is silver, finial is a silver tip, staff is dark grey. The charge comes from the arms of nearby born Abraomas Kulvietis, one of the beginners of Lithuanian literature and the intellectual leader of the Reformation in Lithuania. For the distinction from noble arms the attitude of the swan was changed to displayed.
