Overview
Taujenai (Ukmerge District) - on a silver field under a green head with three silver capitals a black stork with red beak and legs catching a green snake. Flag proportions 10:11, free edges bordered with a narrow red stripe, finial is a golden knob, staff is dark grey. The capitals refer to Taujenai Palace and church, both of late classicism style. The black stork refers to the rare black storks (Ciconia nigra) living in the environs, and its fight with a snake symbolizes good defeating evil.
