This is the new city flag. I discovered it just a few days ago. The old flag can be seen on a photo showing the flag of the City of Dubossary in Dubossarskiy county in Transdnistria, Moldova: http://vart-pmr.narod.ru/museum.html .

The supposed old flag I believe (at http://vart-pmr.narod.ru/museum.html) is not a real municipal flag. The inscriptions read: "For the Transdnistrian Moldovan Republic", "City of Dubossary" and "Rayon of Dubossary". With my socialist-communist experiences, I can say: "Such flags were in the Eastern European states and in the German Democratic Republic into a huge quantity. This flag is no city flag."
