The municipality of Brvenica (in Albanian, Brevincë; 15,855 inhabitants; 164.3 sq. km), located near Tetovo, is made of the village of Brvenica proper and of the nine settlements of Blace, Volkovija, Gurgunica (Gorgonic), Dolno Sedlarce (Selarce i Posthmë), Miletino (Miletin), Padiovce (Radiofce), Stenče (Stence), Tenovo (Tenovë) and Čelopek (Çellopek).

The municipal flag of Brvenica (Macedonian Ministry of Local Self-Government website, page no longer online) is vertical, in proportions 2:1, white with the municipal emblem shifted to the upper part of the flag.
