Winterswijk municipality
Population (1 Jan 2003): 28.979; area: 138,29 km²; settlements: Winterswijk (seat), Brinkheurne, Corle, Henxel, Huppel, Kotten, Meddo, Miste, Ratum, Woold.
Winterswijk is in the extreme southeast of Gelderland, bordering on Germany.
The flag was adopted 29 July 1954, adapted from the Coat of Arms. (but unfortunately without the greyhound).
