On Rosmalen (a former municipality, now part of Den Bosch) Sierksma's Nederlands Vlaggenboek, 1962 [sie62] reported:
Flagdescription: two equally wide horizontal stripes of yellow and blue, with on top a bi-colored border in the colors green and red; at the bottom the same in reversed order, and the border is 1/8 of flagheight.
The colors yellow and blue are derived from the municipal arms, to which have been added the colors the shooting guild of Rosmalen use of old.

Note that after the merger with Den Bosch Rosmalen was granted a village coat of arms, which differed slightly from the former municipal arms.
