Population (1 Jan 2003): 26.387; area: 19,49 km². Settlements: Uithoorn (seat), De Kwakel.
Flag: adopted 5 Apr 1963 by municipal resolution. Description: blue, with a yellow horn with a red ribbon, from which a child's buste pops out.
