Lopik municipality
Number of inhabitants (1 Jan 2003): 13.742; area: 79,40 km². Settlements: Lopik (seat), Benschop, Cabauw, Jaarsveld, Lopikerkapel, Polsbroek, Polsbroekerdam, Uitweg, Willige Langerak.
On 1 Jan 1989 the former municipalities of Benschop, Lopik, and Polsbroek merged to form the new municipality of Lopik.

Description: four equally wide horizontal stripes of yellow, red. white and blue.
This flag was adopted 7 Dec 1954 by municipal resolution. The colors were derived from the municipal arms.
