IJsselstein municipality

Population (1 Jan 2003): 33.500; area: 21,62 km². Settlements: IJsselstein (seat).
Flag: two equally wide horizontal stripes of yellowe and black.
Adopted in 1857 by municipal resolution.
The flag is much older. It is in use since the end of the 16th century, when the lords of IJsselstein were still ruling.
