Description: five stripes of blue, yellow, green, yellow, red, of which the central stripe is wavy, and proportions are 1:2:2:2:1.
The colors are derived from the municipal arms; the wavy stripe is for the old river Zwake. adoption date?

The wavy fess is presumably the old river Zwake. The O and the pheasant make the arms canting
