Kędzierzyn-Koźle county

Kędzierzyn-Koźle County (Polish: powiat kędzierzyńsko-kozielski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Opole Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It was created on 1 January 1999 as a result of the Local Government Reorganization Act of 1998.

On 7 September 1999, the County Council adopted a law about flag and coat of arms . The County flag had three horizontal stripes blue-yellow-blue, with the Coat of Arms in the upper left corner (canton). In 2004 changed the position of the County Coat of Arms. The county rules (statute) of Kędzierzyn-Koźle now describes a flag with three horizontal stripes blue-yellow-blue and with the County Coat of Arms in the center of the yellow stripe.
