Wieluń flag

Wieluń - urban-rural commune, Wieluń County, Łódzkie Voivodship - Latin name: Velun; Czech name: Věluň.
World War II began here. The city was bombed 15 minutes or so earlier then Westerplatte.

The Arms, adopted in present form in 1990 and based on the seal from the XIV Century.
On the red shield there is a single white tower of the fortress with the black window and blue peeked roof topped with golden ball.

Flag: White, slanted band on the red, rectangular field.
Slanted band goes from the left upper corner to the right lower one.
White band takes 1/4 of the vertical side and 1/4 of the horizontal side.
Arms of the City are in the center of the white band.
