Michałowice rural district flag

Michałowice - rural commune, Pruszków County, Mazowieckie Voivodship - former name: Skorosze Commune (until 1952).
In 2007 parliamentary elections, citizens of Michalowice Commune established a participation record: 73,67 % (national average was: 53,8 %).

Arms and flag adopted on July 17, 2006 (resolution # XLII/365/2006).
"Arms: on the golden shield black linden tree with green leaves.at the base, the golden roots held together by a ring and forming an initial "M".

Flag: tri-color in the ratio 3:5 constructed in the Dutch style (whatever it means) and corresponding to the colors of the Arms: yellow-green separated by black stripe. Proof presented in the addendum to the resolution."

The flag has proportions 2:1:2 - while the vertical flag has 3:2:3: I can assure you: that's not Dutch style!
