Kolno rural district flag
Kolno - rural commune, Kolno County, Podlaskie Voivodship.
Gmina Kolno is a rural gmina (commune) in Kolno County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. Its seat is the town of Kolno, although the town is not part of the territory of the commune.
Area: 282.13 sq.km (108.9 sq.mi); Population is 8,787 (2006).
Arms and flag adopted on May 29, 2008 (resolution # XVI/117/08).
"Arms: on a red shield and on a green hill an ancient palisade with a tower-gate in gold color.
Flag: a rectangle in the ratio 5:8 divided into three uneven bands in proportions 1:3:1.
Upper band is red, bottom band is green, and the wide middle band is yellow with the Arms placed in its center."
