Krzęcin commune flag
Krzęcin - rural commune, Choszczno County, Zachodnio-pomorskie Voivodship - old German name: Kranzin.
Gmina Krzęcin is a rural gmina (commune) in Choszczno County, West Pomeranian Voivodship, in north-western Poland. Its seat is the village of Krzęcin.
Area: 140.47 sq.km (54.2 sq.mi); Population: 3,810 (2006).
First mentioned in 1375.
A typical agricultural commune.
Arms adopted on February 1, 1994 (resolution # XXV/165/1994).
Flag adopted on June 14, 2006(resolution # XXXV/172/2006).
"Arms: on the silver shield, on the right side red half-eagle, on the left side black half of the arrow and black eagle's wing
Below are three green oak trees with brown roots and golden acorns.
Oak trees on the right and left have 7 leaves and 4 acorns each; the oak tree in the middle has 5 leaves and 2 acorns.
Flag: rectangular piece of cloth, identical on both sides, composed of three equal horizontal bands: red-yellow-green. In the middle of the flag the Arms of the commune are placed (ratio of the height of the shield to the height of the flag is 4:5. Overall ratio of the flag is 5:8."
