Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE VALE DE MENDIZ, CASAL DE LOIVOS E VILARINHO DE COTAS".
Meaning:
As often happens, these symbols are partly taken from each of the three ancestor communes´ coats of arms.

Vale de Mendiz, Casal de Loivos e Vilarinho de Cotas is one of the four communes of Alijó Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 449 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 12.94 km².
