Shield Argent three crags sable set per fess and in chief a scallop Or and in base a pudding Gules served Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll (Bénard Guedes style) reading in black upper case serifed letters "PRISCOS".
Meaning:
The unusual Portuguese word "prisco" means, according to the official blazon, "small crag", and the arms are therefore partly canting. The pudding on the arms is a local specialty. For further information click this webpage. The scallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.
