Shield Or, a memorial Azure garnished Argent, in chief a heraldic rose Gules, seeded Or and barbed Vert, at dexter and a Greek cross Gules acorned Proper at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SOBRADO - CASTELO DE PAIVA".
Meaning:
The acorned cross, usually an attribute of St. Anthony, is according to source taken from the arms of the family of Bulhões, to which perhaps also the memorial is dedicated.

Presentation of Sobrado
Sobrado was one of the pre-2013 communes of Castelo de Paiva Municipality; it had 2784 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 5,5 km².
