About the Flag

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain blue field (village rank).

The arms are Argent a pall wavy Argent charged with a pall wavy Azure flanked by a quill Vert at dexter and a branch of cork oak Vert fruited Gules at sinister and in chief three arrows Sable pointing downwards and tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "FREGUESIA DE CONSTÂNCIA".
Meaning:
he arms symbolize the confluence of Zêzere and Tagus (shown also on the municipal arms), the fact that some say Constância is the birthplace of Camões, local cork produce, and the arrows I could not find out (apparently not for St. Sebastian).

Presentation of Constância

Constância Commune is one of the three communes of the synonym municipality (q.v.). TThe commune had 880 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 8,76 km².
