It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain white field.

Coat of arms

Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a cow passant Or, in chief two branches of vine Argent fruited Or and connected per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "VALE DA PEDRA".

Vale da Pedra Commune is one of the six communes of the Cartaxo municipality (q.v.); it had 1755 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 13.3 km².
