Shield Argent a quince tree eradicated Vert fruited Or, on chief a Marian crown Gules with gems Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "MARMELEIRO - GUARDA".
Meaning:
The quince tree (Latin: Cydonia oblonga / Portuguese: marmeleiro) is a canting element. The crown is an attribute of Our Lady of Conception, the local patron saint.

Marmeleiro is one of the 35 communes of Guarda Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 297 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 29,63 km².
