Shield Vert, a castle Argent masoned Sable with three embattled towers and port and windows, both Gules, in chief two spindles Or ordered per fess, in base a barrel Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CASTELÕES - PENAFIEL".
Meaning:
The castle is a canting element.
