Shield Gules, a flax blossom Argent seeded Azure, flanked by two pairs of pruning shears Or in pale, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent masoned Sable with one arch. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VALBOM - PINHEL".

Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, an arch Gules masoned Or, flanked in chief by two olive branches vert fruited Sable, beneath the arch a pair of scales Vert, balanced by a sword flamant Gules in pale. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, with inscription in black capitals "BOGALHAL".
Meaning:
Sword and scales are attributes of St. Michael.
