Shield Or a billet Sable between two grape vines Vert crossed per saltire at the stems and bearing two bunches Purpure each. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "LOUSA - TORRE DE MONCORVO".
Meaning:
The Portuguese word ´lousa´ means ´slate´ and therefore these arms are partly canting.

Presentation of Lousa

Lousa was one of the nine communes of Moncorvo Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 287 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 34,97 km².
