Shield Or, a pile Vert charged with an eradicated almond tree Argent fruited Or and a lamb Argent emphasized Sable in pale, flanked by two olive branches Vert fruited Sable, on a base wavy Azure a barrulet wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE VALTORNO E MOURÃO".
Meaning:
Line of partition, base wavy and tree are representing the former Val de Torno Municipality, sheep and olive branches the former Mourão Commune.

is one of the five communes of Vila Flor Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 319 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 19,31 km².

Val de Torno was one of the ten communes of Vila Flor Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 260 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 13,75 km².
