Shield Argent, a bend sinister wavy Azure charged with a bendlet sinister wavy Argent, in dexter chief a watermill's wheel Gules, in sinister base a dolmen Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "ESMERIZ - VILA NOVA DE FAMALICÃO".
