About the flag
The pennant is horizontally divided by a wavy line into yellow over blue, the colours of the flag of Madeira. In the middle of the yellow half is the cross of the order of the Knights of Christ. In the blue half shifted to the hoist is a yellow logo consisting of the initials "ANM" looking like a sailing boat.
Source: I spotted this pennant in the marina of Funchal on 15 February 2012.
