About the club

Club Centenario was founded on 18 April 1937 in Asunción and approved on 11 January 1939 by Decree No. 11,233. During the founding assembly organized in José María Angulo’s house, the club was named Centenario since the fourth centenary of the establishment of Asunción was celebrated that year.

Swimming section

The club has several different social, cultural and sports sections. The flag of the swimming section is made of the club’s flag inscribed with "CLUB CENTENARIO", in blue letters, in the yellow stripe, and "NATACIÓN" (swimming), in yellow letters in the blue stripe. Similar flags might exist for other sections of the club.
