Flag

Kurchatov is a town in Kursk Oblast. It is the administrative center of Kurchatovsky District, despite being politically separate.

The flag is 1:2 and divided into two halves, the hoist being white and the fly being blue. In the center is a golden atom to represent the power plant-related history of Kurchatov. The white represents purity, hope, and truthfulness. The blue represents the Kurchatov Sea.
