Ipeľský Sokolec flag
Ipel'sky Sokolec (Hungarian: Ipolyszakállos) has 908 inhabitants (88,1% Hungarian, 11,5% Slovakian; 1990 census). The village was in Hont (Slovakian: Hont) County of of Hungary till 1919/1920. 1920-1938 part of Czechoslovakia, 1938-1944 part of Hungary.. In 1947 reallocated to Czechoslovakia. On 20th of august I was in the Mayor's Office of the village.
