Byelorrusia was merged into Lithuanian-Byelarussian SSR on 27 february 1919 and was resstablished in august 1919.

Independence: 1918-1940
From 1918 to 1940, Lithuaniawas independent again. German occupationin 1941-1944. In 1944 a lithuanian RSS was created within the Soviet Union.
