Flag

Flag of President Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez, in office since 1 June 2019. The presidential flag, which appeared in public at the beginning of 2020, is dark blue and bears the national emblem surrounded by fourteen white stars in the center, outlined in white, as many as the departments of El Salvador. The flag has raised some controversy due to its dark color, sometimes mistaken for black; it was believed to be a reference to Islam, as the father of the president was Muslim. (Gaceta de Banderas, 220, 2020) (translated from Italian)

I saved an image of this flag, very dark and maybe slightly different from the drawing posted above.
It seems that this flag was used not by the president, but for the national government. The ministries now bear in their flags the same emblem (in the photo, in the Ministry of Economy the emblem is also a dark dark blue).
