Flag

San Salvador Este's flag can be seen athttps://twitter.com/josemariachicas. It consists of a dark blue field with the municipal logo in gold centered on it. The flag and logo were adopted on May 1, 2024, the day the government under José Chicas (Nuevas Ideas) was instated. The capital of San Salvador Este is Soyapango. Its other districts are Ilopango, San Martí­n, and Tonacatepeque.
