Description
The badge is not centered (it is not a mistake in the image).
Olivier Touzeau, 7 February 2000
In introducing the flag and the emblem of Bueng Kan province (http://202.143.171.227/bungkan/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=71&Itemid=85), it is stated, "Purple and white are the colors of the provinces of Bueng Kan and Nong Khai. Bueng Kan province separated from Nong Khai province, but they still have relations."
Olivier Touzeau, 18 July 2012
According to the Thai Ministry of Interior in 2000, the flag of Nong Khai is horizontally divided black/red/black (1:2:1) with in the upper central part a very different representation of the provincial seal on which are pink lotus flowers. The image I made is after Mello Luchtenberg's image posted towww.cyber-flag.net.
