The flag of Şabanözü (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem in the middle. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality"
The emblem of the municipality features two oil wrestlers, recalling that the town is home of a famous wrestling tournament. The motto on the emblem, "Bereket Şehri", reads "The Town of Abundance".
