The flag of Mecitözü (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem in the middle. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality". The former flag of Mecitözü (photo) was white with the municipality's former emblem. "Belediye Başkanlığı" means "Municipality Presidency".

The municipality has minimally changed the logo, which has also affected the flag (the national flag is placed higher). Here is a better representation of the previous flag.
