Overview
According to Taiwanese flag site, Globalflag, there is a new subdivision in Taiwan. Former Taipei county has been trasformed into Hsinbei or Xinbei District, which means "new north district". This includes northern territory of the island surrounding the capital.

Its flag is white with a flower having coloured petals and the Chinese name of new entity under it. Proportion 2:3.
