"On the white rectangular panel with a ratio of the sides as 2:3 is green mountain, from which grows an oak; under oak is a yellow horseshoe eyes up; on the mountain is white sabre turned edge to staff."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"Argent with arched vert base; oak of natural colors, under oak is or horseshoe eyes up; in the base is argent sabre in fess. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or village crown. The author is E.Chernets'kyi.
The symbolic reflects a local legend. Near village is a mountain. In one time on this mountain under the large oak somebody put horseshoe. Person, who will stay on it, can see Shamraivka church (in twenty kilometers from Fastivka). The mountain with an oak, under which are placed horseshoe and sabre, tell about this original legend.
