"The flag was confirmed at November 20, 1998 by the decision 48. The rectangular panel consists of four horizontal bands - white, red, green and white - in the ratio 1:3:3:1, with the arms placed on it."

"The modern emblem was confirmed at November 20, 1998 by the decision 48. The shield per fess by the argent wave belt on vert and gules. There are three or ears in the shield and or Cossacks sabre under them. In a canton are or and gules squares. The emblem adorned by ear's decorative cartouche with azure ribbon."
