"In an or field is the gules sun with eleven beams, on which is the argent pigeon, accompanied azure dexter and vert sinister flanks. The emblem adorned by or decorative cartouche and crowned by an or rural crown The village was completely ruined by the tatar hordes of khan Mengli-Girej at 1482, but has revived, as a fantastic bird - phoenix from ashes. The arms of village reminds about this revival. The gules sun symbolizes the Christ who suffered, has died and has revived from dead with the help of Sacred Spirit which symbolizes the white pigeon. Eleven corners of a solar crown mean apostles whom remained to the true Teacher. The sun symbolizes life which has again revived in village. The or background symbolizes Divine light and Sacred Spirit. Azure flank symbolizes Lubych river, vert flank means a wood. (<www.brovary-region.com.ua/silrada/silrada.htm>)".

The Village
From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It is known from written sources since 1552 as a settlement belonging to Oster fortress. Near the village is one of the greatest Ukrainian site of ancient settlement. Since 1905 it belonged to family of the Kyiv cossack colonels Solonyny.
