wrong image from the site of Ukrainian Heraldry
From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"The rectangular panel with a parity of the parties 2:3 is divided horizontally into azure, yellow and red strips in the ratio 2:1:2. In the top strip is white patte cross, over which is shield: in an blue field is white half moon horns to the staff. In the bottom strip is white chamomile with yellow core. From a staff are white and yellow vertical strips in width in 2/15 from length of a flag; on a white strip is red-and-black Ukrainian ornament."
Dov Gutterman, 28 November 2008
I think something wrong in this image: See the coat of arms: cross with small shield placed on the red part of the main shield, flower - on the blue one. But in the image of flag these colours are changed. Why?
For example, Wikipediashows the flag with colours and figures according the coat of arms - upper stripe: blue with flower - lower stripe: red (crimson) with cross.

The picture of the flag of Tomashpil district at Ukrainian Heraldry is incorrect. Correct you can see at wikipedia. This flag was designed by me.
The District council asked me to add ornament to flag.
The cross with a half moon is a symbol of the Bratslav woyewodship (end of the 16th - end of the 18th centuries.
