Description of the flag
A blue flag with the town seal in the center, bearing the date of incorporation, and town name and five white stars in the outer ring. Erving was the last of Franklin County's 26 towns to be incorporated, having been officially established in 1838. It is named after John Erving of Boston, who was one of the most successful merchants in America. Erving is in Franklin County.
