Richland, Mississippi (U.S.) (original) (raw)

Divided in three parts by white bands, across the bottom a blue field with the name in blue, in the upper hoist, a blue field with a large R and a star and dove bearing an olive branch, and in the upper fly, 11 red and white horizontal stripes.

We are originally from Richland. We still tend to say "Plain" as that's the old name of the town, and frankly, a bit more of an appropriate name. Not that the town is terribly plain, but it sits on a plain.

This flag was originally made up fully double sided, so you can imagine what it looked like from the reverse.
