"justin strawser/Staff Photo:
The Coal Township Board of Commissioners presented a Coal Township flag to the Coal Township Alumni Association Thursday night at the monthly meeting. From left to right are Commissioner George Zalar, Historian Tom Keyack, former chairman of the Scholarship Committee Ed Binkoski and President Albert Santor. The board is replacing the flag they presented to them nearly three years ago. It will be raised at the monument at the high rise on Arch Street."

The flag is a ~2:3 vertical "Canadian" triband of bluish purple(?) and white with a black logo on the central panel. The logo shows a mine rail car.
